- Master's Thesis: "Electron Localization in Polyaniline
Derivatives," Conducted measurements of the electrical
conductivity and magnetic susceptibility of the polymer Toluidine.
Developed a nonlinear curve-fitting computer program in FORTRAN for
analyzing susceptibility data.
- Coauthor: "Magnetic Susceptibility Analysis of Polyaniline
and
its Derivatives in Terms of Triplet Bipolarons," Physical Review B,
Vol. 50, Number 0, Dec. 15, 1994
- Appeared on "Origins" TV program for Cornerstone
Television, Pittsburgh, PA. Programs addressed fossils, the solar
system, and the Big Bang.
- Presented papers at the Third, Fourth, and Fifth
International
Conferences on Creationism, 1994, 1998, and 2003. The 1994 paper was
entitled "The
Origin and History of the Solar System." Published in the
conference
proceedings. Presented two papers at the Fourth ICC in August '98: "Catastophic
Impact Bombardment Surrounding the Genesis Flood" and "Geophysical
Effects of Impacts During the Genesis Flood." At the 2003 ICC
the
paper presented was "Tidal Dissipation and the Age of Io."
- Have published in Creation Ex Nihilo magazine, have contributed
to ICR radio programs, and provided technical illustrations for an ICR
book, "Voyage to the Planets."
- Coauthored a paper with Michael J. Oard on "The Chesapeake Bay Impact and Noah's Flood"
in the Creation Research Society Quarterly, Vol. 41, No. 3, December
2004.
- Published paper, "The
Existence and Origin of Extrasolar
Planets"
in the Journal of Creation (formerly Ex Nihilo Technical Journal or TJ),
Vol.
15, No. 1, (April) 2001. Also published follow-up paper, "Rapid Planet
Formation" in Journal of Creation, Vol. 17, No. 3, 2003.
OTHER MINISTRY
- Have taught workshops for church leaders at the Kansas
Leadership
and Sunday School convention, for teachers at conferences of the
Association of Christian Schools International, and for home schoolers
at the Teaching Parents Association Convention in Wichita, Kansas.
- Former Vice-Chairman of the Mid-Kansas chapter of the
Bible-Science Association. Have spoke on many creation/evolution topics
to churches, youth groups, and in some secular settings. Also organized
major creation conferences for all ages, in Wichita, 1990-1992.
- Have spoke at meetings of creation organizations in Kansas City,
Oklahoma
City, Houston, and Dallas. Have also spoke to home school groups in the
Dallas
area.
- Travelled in Russia in June of 1995 distributing Bibles and
Christian literature with a group. Also gave creation messages at one
church in Moscow, and at Ufa Technological Institute in Ufa, Siberia. A
special report on this trip was published in Bible Science News
magazine in August 1995.
- Self-publish some creation materials that are sold to creation
organizations and individuals.
